NEHEMIAH 4 2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make AN end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? NEHEMIAH 5 12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took AN oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. 17 Moreover there were at my table AN hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the heathen that are about us. NEHEMIAH 6 5 Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with AN open letter in his hand; 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for AN evil report, that they might reproach me. NEHEMIAH 7 8 The children of Parosh, two thousand AN hundred seventy and two. 24 The children of Hariph, AN hundred and twelve. 26 The men of Bethlehem and Netophah, AN hundred fourscore and eight. 27 The men of Anathoth, AN hundred twenty and eight. 31 The men of Michmas, AN hundred and twenty and two. 32 The men of Bethel and Ai, AN hundred twenty and three. 44 The singers: the children of Asaph, AN hundred forty and eight. 45 The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, AN hundred thirty and eight. NEHEMIAH 10 29 They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into AN oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes; 33 For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make AN atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God. NEHEMIAH 11 14 And their brethren, mighty men of valour, AN hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men. 19 Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were AN hundred seventy and two. ESTHER 1 1 Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over AN hundred and seven and twenty provinces:) 4 When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even AN hundred and fourscore days. ESTHER 8 9 Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, AN hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language. JOB 1 8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and AN upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 10 Hast not thou made AN hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. JOB 2 3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and AN upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 11 Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made AN appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. JOB 3 16 Or as AN hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light. JOB 4 16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: AN image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, JOB 6 6 Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of AN egg? JOB 7 1 Is there not AN appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of AN hireling? 2 As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as AN hireling looketh for the reward of his work: JOB 13 16 He also shall be my salvation: for AN hypocrite shall not come before him. JOB 14 3 And doth thou open thine eyes upon such AN one, and bringest me into judgment with thee? 4 Who can bring a clean thing out of AN unclean? not one. 6 Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as AN hireling, his day. JOB 16 3 Shall vain words have AN end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest? JOB 18 2 How long will it be ere ye make AN end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. JOB 19 15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am AN alien in their sight. 24 That they were graven with AN iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! JOB 20 19 Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away AN house which he builded not; JOB 26 10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to AN end. JOB 28 3 He setteth AN end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. JOB 31 6 Let me be weighed in AN even balance that God may know mine integrity. 11 For this is AN heinous crime; yea, it is AN iniquity to be punished by the judges. 20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the FLEECE of my sheep; 28 This also were AN iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above. JOB 33 23 If there be a messenger with him, AN interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: JOB 40 9 Hast thou AN arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? 15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as AN ox. JOB 41 1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with AN hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? 2 Canst thou put AN hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? JOB 42 11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one AN earring of gold. 16 After this lived Job AN hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations. --MORE-- |
