EZRA 10 17 And they made AN end with all the men that had taken strange wives by the first day of the first month. NEHEMIAH 4 2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make AN end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? NEHEMIAH 5 12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took AN oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. 17 Moreover there were at my table AN hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the heathen that are about us. NEHEMIAH 6 5 Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with AN open letter in his hand; 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for AN evil report, that they might reproach me. NEHEMIAH 10 29 They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into AN oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes; 33 For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make AN atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God. NEHEMIAH 11 14 And their brethren, mighty men of valour, AN hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men. 19 Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were AN hundred seventy and two. JOB 1 8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and AN upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 10 Hast not thou made AN hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. JOB 2 3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and AN upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 11 Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made AN appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. --MORE-- |
