ISAIAH 51 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye AFRAID of their revilings. 12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be AFRAID of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; ISAIAH 52 14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage WAS so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: ISAIAH 53 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he WAS despised, and we esteemed him not. 5 But he WAS wounded for our transgressions, he WAS bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace WAS upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 7 He WAS oppressed, and he WAS afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He WAS taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he WAS cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people WAS he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither WAS any deceit in his mouth. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he WAS numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. ISAIAH 57 11 And of whom hast thou been AFRAID or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness WAS I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and WAS wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart. ISAIAH 59 15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there WAS no judgment. 16 And he saw that there WAS no man, and wondered that there WAS no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. 17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and WAS clad with zeal as a cloak. ISAIAH 61 10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride ADORNETH herself with her jewels.
