O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper. 2 CHRONICLES 15 2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with YOU, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of YOU; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake YOU. 2 CHRONICLES 19 6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with YOU in the judgment. 7 Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon YOU; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts. 10 And what cause soever shall come to YOU of your brethren that dwell in your cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon YOU, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass. 11 And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over YOU in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before YOU. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good. 2 CHRONICLES 20 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto YOU, Be not AFRAID nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with YOU, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with YOU. 2 CHRONICLES 23 4 This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of YOU entering on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters of the doors; 2 CHRONICLES 24 20 And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken YOU. 2 CHRONICLES 28 10 And now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto YOU: but are there not with YOU, even with YOU, sins against the LORD your God? 11 Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon YOU. 2 CHRONICLES 29 11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen YOU to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense. 2 CHRONICLES 30 6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of YOU, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria. 8 Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from YOU. 9 For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from YOU, if ye return unto him. 2 CHRONICLES 32 7 Be strong and courageous, be not AFRAID nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: 11 Doth not Hezekiah persuade YOU to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria? 14 Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver YOU out of mine hand? 15 Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive YOU, nor persuade YOU on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver YOU out of mine hand? 2 CHRONICLES 34 23 And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent YOU to me, 26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent YOU to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which thou hast heard; 2 CHRONICLES 36 23 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among YOU of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up. EZRA 1 3 Who is there among YOU of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem. EZRA 5 3 At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded YOU to build this house, and to make up this wall? 9 Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded YOU to build this house, and to make up these walls? NEHEMIAH 1 8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter YOU abroad among the nations: 9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of YOU cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. NEHEMIAH 2 2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore AFRAID, NEHEMIAH 4 12 And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto us ten times, From all places whence ye shall return unto us they will be upon YOU. 14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye AFRAID of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses. NEHEMIAH 6 3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to YOU? 9 For they all made us AFRAID, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be AFRAID, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. NEHEMIAH 13 21 Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on YOU. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath. 27 Shall we then hearken unto YOU to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?
