JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard YOU; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer YOU, I will declare it unto YOU; I will keep nothing back from YOU. 10 If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build YOU, and not pull YOU down, and I will plant YOU, and not pluck YOU up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto YOU. 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with YOU to save YOU, and to deliver YOU from his hand. 12 And I will shew mercies unto YOU, that he may have mercy upon YOU, and cause YOU to return to your own land. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake YOU there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after YOU there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. 18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon YOU, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. 19 The LORD hath said concerning YOU, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished YOU this day. 21 And now I have this day declared it to YOU; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto YOU. JEREMIAH 44 4 Howbeit I sent unto YOU all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate. 7 Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from YOU man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave YOU none to remain; 10 They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before YOU and before your fathers. 11 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against YOU for evil, and to cut off all Judah. 23 Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto YOU, as at this day. 29 And this shall be a sign unto YOU, saith the LORD, that I will punish YOU in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against YOU for evil: JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 49 3 Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird YOU with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his priests and his princes together. 30 Flee, get YOU far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against YOU, and hath conceived a purpose against YOU. 31 Arise, get YOU up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone. JEREMIAH 50 12 Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare YOU shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 5 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about YOU, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about YOU; 16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy YOU: and I will increase the famine upon YOU, and will break your staff of bread: 17 So will I send upon YOU famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it. EZEKIEL 6 3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon YOU, and I will destroy your high places. 7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of YOU, and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 9 And they that escape of YOU shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations. EZEKIEL 11 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring YOU forth out of the midst of it. 8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon YOU, saith the Lord GOD. 9 And I will bring YOU out of the midst thereof, and deliver YOU into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among YOU. 10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge YOU in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge YOU in the border of Israel: 12 And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about YOU. 15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get YOU far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession. 17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather YOU from the people, and assemble YOU out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give YOU the land of Israel. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within YOU; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: EZEKIEL 13 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against YOU, saith the Lord GOD. 12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto YOU, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? 15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto YOU, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; 18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto YOU? EZEKIEL 18 30 Therefore I will judge YOU, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from YOU all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make YOU a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? EZEKIEL 20 3 Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by YOU. 20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and YOU, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God. 31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by YOU, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by YOU. 33 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over YOU: 34 And I will bring YOU out from the people, and will gather YOU out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. 35 And I will bring YOU into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with YOU face to face. 36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with YOU, saith the Lord GOD. 37 And I will cause YOU to pass under the rod, and I will bring YOU into the bond of the covenant: 38 And I will purge out from among YOU the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 39 As for YOU, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. 41 I will accept YOU with your sweet savour, when I bring YOU out from the people, and gather YOU out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in YOU before the heathen. 42 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring YOU into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. 44 And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I have wrought with YOU for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. --MORE-- |
