HAGGAI 2 3 Who is left among YOU that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with YOU, saith the LORD of hosts: 5 According to the word that I covenanted with YOU when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among YOU: fear ye not. 15 And now, I pray YOU, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD: 17 I smote YOU with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD. 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless YOU. ZECHARIAH 2 6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread YOU abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. 8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled YOU: for he that toucheth YOU toucheth the apple of his eye. ZECHARIAH 4 9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto YOU. ZECHARIAH 6 7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get YOU hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. 15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto YOU. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God. ZECHARIAH 7 10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of YOU imagine evil against his brother in your heart. ZECHARIAH 8 13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save YOU, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. 14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish YOU, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not: 17 And let none of YOU imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD. 23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with YOU: for we have heard that God is with YOU. ZECHARIAH 9 12 Turn YOU to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee; ZECHARIAH 11 7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even YOU, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock. 9 Then said I, I will not feed YOU: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another. MALACHI 1 2 I have loved YOU, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, 6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto YOU, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? 9 And now, I pray YOU, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts. 10 Who is there even among YOU that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in YOU, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. MALACHI 2 1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for YOU. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon YOU, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take YOU away with it. 4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto YOU, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. 9 Therefore have I also made YOU contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. MALACHI 3 5 And I will come near to YOU to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. 7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto YOU, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open YOU the windows of heaven, and pour YOU out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 12 And all nations shall call YOU blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. MATTHEW 5 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile YOU, and persecute YOU, and shall say all manner of evil against YOU falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before YOU. 18 For verily I say unto YOU, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 20 For I say unto YOU, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. 22 But I say unto YOU, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 28 But I say unto YOU, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 32 But I say unto YOU, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. 34 But I say unto YOU, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 39 But I say unto YOU, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 44 But I say unto YOU, Love your enemies, bless them that curse YOU, do good to them that hate YOU, and pray for them which despitefully use YOU, and persecute YOU; 46 For if ye love them which love YOU, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? --MORE-- |
