2 SAMUEL 15 27 The king said also unto Zadok the PRIEST, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. 1 KINGS 1 7 And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the PRIEST: and they following Adonijah helped him. 8 But Zadok the PRIEST, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the mighty men which belonged to David, were not with Adonijah. 19 And he hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the sons of the king, and Abiathar the PRIEST, and Joab the captain of the host: but Solomon thy servant hath he not called. 25 For he is gone down this day, and hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the king's sons, and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the PRIEST; and, behold, they eat and drink before him, and say, God save king Adonijah. 26 But me, even me thy servant, and Zadok the PRIEST, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant Solomon, hath he not called. 32 And king David said, Call me Zadok the PRIEST, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king. 34 And let Zadok the PRIEST and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon. 38 So Zadok the PRIEST, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule, and brought him to Gihon. 39 And Zadok the PRIEST took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon. 42 And while he yet spake, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the PRIEST came; and Adonijah said unto him, Come in; for thou art a valiant man, and bringest good tidings. 44 And the king hath sent with him Zadok the PRIEST, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to ride upon the king's mule: 45 And Zadok the PRIEST and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This is the noise that ye have heard. 1 KINGS 2 22 And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the PRIEST, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah. 26 And unto Abiathar the PRIEST said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the LORD God before David my father, and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted. 27 So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being PRIEST unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD, which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh. 35 And the king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his room over the host: and Zadok the PRIEST did the king put in the room of Abiathar. 1 KINGS 4 2 And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the PRIEST, 1 KINGS 18 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And the PRIEST appointed officers over the house of the LORD. 2 KINGS 12 2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the PRIEST instructed him. 7 Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the PRIEST, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house. 9 But Jehoiada the PRIEST took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD. 10 And it was so, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that the king's scribe and the high PRIEST came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money that was found in the house of the LORD. 2 KINGS 16 10 And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that was at Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the PRIEST the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof. 11 And Urijah the PRIEST built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the PRIEST made it against king Ahaz came from Damascus. 15 And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the PRIEST, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire by. 16 Thus did Urijah the PRIEST, according to all that king Ahaz commanded. 2 KINGS 17 4 And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea: for he had sent messengers to So king of Egypt, and brought no present to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in PRISON. 2 KINGS 22 4 Go up to Hilkiah the high PRIEST, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people: 8 And Hilkiah the high PRIEST said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it. 10 And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the PRIEST hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king. 12 And the king commanded Hilkiah the PRIEST, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king's, saying, 14 So Hilkiah the PRIEST, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her. 2 KINGS 23 4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high PRIEST, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel. 24 Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the PRIEST found in the house of the LORD. 2 KINGS 25 18 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief PRIEST, and Zephaniah the second PRIEST, and the three keepers of the door: 27 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of PRISON; 29 And changed his PRISON garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life. 1 CHRONICLES 9 32 And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to PREPARE it every sabbath. 1 CHRONICLES 16 39 And Zadok the PRIEST, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon, 1 CHRONICLES 24 2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the PRIEST's office. 6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the PRIEST, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar. 1 CHRONICLES 27 5 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief PRIEST: and in his course were twenty and four thousand. 1 CHRONICLES 29 18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and PREPARE their heart unto thee: 22 And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness.
