1 KINGS 8 13 I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to ABIDE in for ever. 22 And Solomon stood before the ALTAR of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: 31 If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine ALTAR in this house: 54 And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the ALTAR of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. 64 The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen ALTAR that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. 1 KINGS 9 25 And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the ALTAR which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the ALTAR that was before the LORD. So he finished the house. 1 KINGS 12 32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the ALTAR. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him. 5 The ALTAR also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the ALTAR, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD. 32 For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the ALTAR in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass. 1 KINGS 14 11 Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the AIR eat: for the LORD hath spoken it. 1 KINGS 16 4 Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the AIR eat. 32 And he reared up an ALTAR for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. 1 KINGS 18 26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. And he repaired the ALTAR of the LORD that was broken down. 32 And with the stones he built an ALTAR in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the ALTAR, as great as would contain two measures of seed. 35 And the water ran round about the ALTAR; and he filled the trench also with water. 1 KINGS 21 24 Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the AIR eat. 2 KINGS 11 11 And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the ALTAR and the temple. 2 KINGS 12 9 But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the ALTAR, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD. 2 KINGS 16 10 And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an ALTAR that was at Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the ALTAR, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof. 11 And Urijah the priest built an ALTAR according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the priest made it against king Ahaz came from Damascus. 12 And when the king was come from Damascus, the king saw the ALTAR: and the king approached to the ALTAR, and offered thereon. 13 And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings, upon the ALTAR. 14 And he brought also the brasen ALTAR, which was before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from between the ALTAR and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side of the ALTAR. 15 And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great ALTAR burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen ALTAR shall be for me to enquire by. 2 KINGS 18 22 But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this ALTAR in Jerusalem? 2 KINGS 23 9 Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the ALTAR of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their brethren. 15 Moreover the ALTAR that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that ALTAR and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove. 16 And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the ALTAR, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words. 17 Then he said, What title is that that I see?
