ISAIAH 20 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we FLEE for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 23 3 And by GREAT waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations. ISAIAH 24 13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning GRAPES when the vintage is done. ISAIAH 27 1 In that day the LORD with his sore and GREAT and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. 13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the GREAT trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem. ISAIAH 29 6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and GREAT noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. ISAIAH 30 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the GREAT slaughter, when the towers fall. ISAIAH 31 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 32 2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a GREAT rock in a weary land. ISAIAH 33 23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a GREAT spoil divided; the lame take the prey. ISAIAH 34 6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a GREAT slaughter in the land of Idumea. 15 There shall the GREAT owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate. ISAIAH 35 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 36 2 And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a GREAT army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field. 4 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the GREAT king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest? 13 Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said, Hear ye the words of the GREAT king, the king of Assyria. ISAIAH 38 17 Behold, for peace I had GREAT bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. ISAIAH 47 9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the GREAT abundance of thine enchantments. ISAIAH 48 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, FLEE ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ISAIAH 51 10 Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the GREAT deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 53 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the GREAT, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. ISAIAH 54 7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with GREAT mercies will I gather thee. 13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and GREAT shall be the peace of thy children. ISAIAH 63 7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the GREAT goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. JEREMIAH 4 6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a GREAT destruction. 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 5 5 I will get me unto the GREAT men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds. 27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become GREAT, and waxen rich. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to FLEE out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and GREAT destruction. 22 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a GREAT nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth. JEREMIAH 8 13 I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no GRAPES on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them. JEREMIAH 10 6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art GREAT, and thy name is GREAT in might. 22 Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a GREAT commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons. JEREMIAH 11 16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a GREAT tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. JEREMIAH 13 9 Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the GREAT pride of Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 14 17 Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a GREAT breach, with a very grievous blow. JEREMIAH 16 6 Both the GREAT and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them: 10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this GREAT evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God? JEREMIAH 20 17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always GREAT with me. JEREMIAH 21 5 And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in GREAT wrath. 6 And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a GREAT pestilence. JEREMIAH 22 8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this GREAT city? JEREMIAH 25 14 For many nations and GREAT kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands. 30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the GRAPES, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a GREAT whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to FLEE, nor the principal of the flock to escape. JEREMIAH 26 19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure GREAT evil against our souls. --MORE-- |
