EZEKIEL 29 3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the GREAT dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. 18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a GREAT service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it: EZEKIEL 30 4 And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and GREAT pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and GREAT pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. 16 And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have GREAT pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily. EZEKIEL 31 4 The waters made him GREAT, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent her little rivers unto all the trees of the field. 6 All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all GREAT nations. 7 Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by GREAT waters. 15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the GREAT waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him. EZEKIEL 32 13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the GREAT waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them. EZEKIEL 38 4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a GREAT company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a GREAT spoil? 15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a GREAT company, and a mighty army: 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a GREAT shaking in the land of Israel; 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and GREAT hailstones, fire, and brimstone. EZEKIEL 39 17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a GREAT sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. EZEKIEL 41 8 I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six GREAT cubits. EZEKIEL 47 9 And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very GREAT multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. 10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the GREAT sea, exceeding many. 15 And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the GREAT sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; 19 And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the GREAT sea. And this is the south side southward. 20 The west side also shall be the GREAT sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side. EZEKIEL 48 28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the GREAT sea. DANIEL 2 6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and GREAT honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. 31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a GREAT image. This GREAT image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a GREAT mountain, and filled the whole earth. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the GREAT God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. 48 Then the king made Daniel a GREAT man, and gave him many GREAT gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. DANIEL 4 3 How GREAT are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. 10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was GREAT. 30 The king spake, and said, Is not this GREAT Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? DANIEL 5 1 Belshazzar the king made a GREAT feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand. DANIEL 7 2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the GREAT sea. 3 And four GREAT beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. 7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had GREAT iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking GREAT things. 11 I beheld then because of the voice of the GREAT words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. 17 These GREAT beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. 20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very GREAT things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. 25 And he shall speak GREAT words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. DANIEL 8 4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became GREAT. 8 Therefore the he goat waxed very GREAT: and when he was strong, the GREAT horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding GREAT, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. 10 And it waxed GREAT, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the GREAT horn that is between his eyes is the first king. DANIEL 9 4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the GREAT and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a GREAT evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy GREAT mercies. --MORE-- |
