EXODUS 3 6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was AFRAID to look upon God. EXODUS 10 19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red SEA; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. EXODUS 14 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the SEA, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the SEA. 9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the SEA, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon. 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore AFRAID: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the SEA, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the SEA. 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the SEA; and the LORD caused the SEA to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the SEA dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the SEA upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the SEA, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the SEA, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. 27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the SEA, and the SEA returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the SEA. 28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the SEA after them; there remained not so much as one of them. 29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the SEA; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the SEA shore. EXODUS 15 1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the SEA. 4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the SEA: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red SEA. 8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the SEA. 10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the SEA covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. 14 The people shall hear, and be AFRAID: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. 19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the SEA, and the LORD brought again the waters of the SEA upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the SEA. 21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the SEA. 22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red SEA, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. EXODUS 20 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the SEA, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. EXODUS 23 31 And I will set thy bounds from the Red SEA even unto the SEA of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee. EXODUS 34 30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were AFRAID to come nigh him. LEVITICUS 26 6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you AFRAID: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. NUMBERS 12 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not AFRAID to speak against my servant Moses? NUMBERS 13 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the SEA, and by the coast of Jordan. NUMBERS 14 25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red SEA. NUMBERS 21 4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red SEA, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. 14 Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red SEA, and in the brooks of Arnon, NUMBERS 22 3 And Moab was sore AFRAID of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. NUMBERS 33 8 And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the SEA into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah. 10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red SEA. 11 And they removed from the Red SEA, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin. NUMBERS 34 3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt SEA eastward: 5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the SEA. 6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great SEA for a border: this shall be your west border. 7 And this shall be your north border: from the great SEA ye shall point out for you mount Hor: 11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the SEA of Chinnereth eastward: 12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt SEA: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about. DEUTERONOMY 1 1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red SEA, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab. 7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the SEA side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. 17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be AFRAID of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be AFRAID of them. 40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red SEA. DEUTERONOMY 2 1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red SEA, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: --MORE-- |
