PSALM 96 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the SEA roar, and the fulness thereof. PSALM 98 7 Let the SEA roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. PSALM 104 25 So is this great and wide SEA, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts. PSALM 106 7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the SEA, even at the Red SEA. 9 He rebuked the Red SEA also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. 22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red SEA. PSALM 107 23 They that go down to the SEA in ships, that do business in great waters; PSALM 112 7 He shall not be AFRAID of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. 8 His heart is established, he shall not be AFRAID, until he see his desire upon his enemies. PSALM 114 3 The SEA saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. 5 What ailed thee, O thou SEA, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? PSALM 119 120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am AFRAID of thy judgments. PSALM 136 13 To him which divided the Red SEA into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever: 15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red SEA: for his mercy endureth for ever. PSALM 139 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the SEA; PSALM 146 6 Which made heaven, and earth, the SEA, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: PROVERBS 3 24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be AFRAID: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. 25 Be not AFRAID of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. PROVERBS 8 29 When he gave to the SEA his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: PROVERBS 23 34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the SEA, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. PROVERBS 30 19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the SEA; and the way of a man with a maid. PROVERBS 31 21 She is not AFRAID of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. ECCLESIASTES 1 7 All the rivers run into the SEA; yet the SEA is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again. ECCLESIASTES 12 5 Also when they shall be AFRAID of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: ISAIAH 5 30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the SEA: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof. ISAIAH 8 12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be AFRAID. ISAIAH 9 1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the SEA, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. ISAIAH 10 22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the SEA, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. 24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not AFRAID of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. 26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the SEA, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. 29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is AFRAID; Gibeah of Saul is fled. ISAIAH 11 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the SEA. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the SEA. 15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian SEA; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod. ISAIAH 12 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be AFRAID: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. ISAIAH 13 8 And they shall be AFRAID: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. ISAIAH 16 8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the SEA. ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. ISAIAH 18 2 That sendeth ambassadors by the SEA, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled! ISAIAH 19 5 And the waters shall fail from the SEA, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. ISAIAH 20 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. ISAIAH 21 1 The burden of the desert of the SEA. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land. ISAIAH 23 2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the SEA, have replenished. 4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the SEA hath spoken, even the strength of the SEA, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins. 11 He stretched out his hand over the SEA, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof. ISAIAH 24 14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the SEA. 15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the SEA. ISAIAH 27 1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the SEA. --MORE-- |
