ISAIAH 23 2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the SEA, have replenished. 4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the SEA hath spoken, even the strength of the SEA, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins. 11 He stretched out his hand over the SEA, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof. JEREMIAH 47 7 How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the SEA shore? there hath he appointed it. JEREMIAH 48 32 O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the SEA, they reach even to the SEA of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage. JEREMIAH 49 21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red SEA. 23 Concerning Damascus.
