JEREMIAH 2 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 47 7 How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the SEA shore? there hath he appointed it. LAMENTATIONS 4 3 Even the SEA monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 26 3 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the SEA causeth his waves to come up. 5 It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the SEA: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations. 16 Then all the princes of the SEA shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee. 17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the SEA, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it! 18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the SEA shall be troubled at thy departure. EZEKIEL 27 3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the SEA, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the SEA with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. 29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the SEA, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land; 32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the SEA? 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 38 20 So that the fishes of the SEA, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. EZEKIEL 39 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the SEA: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog. 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 47 8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the SEA: which being brought forth into the SEA, the waters shall be healed. 10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great SEA, exceeding many. 15 And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great SEA, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad; 17 And the border from the SEA shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side. 18 And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east SEA. And this is the east side. 19 And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great SEA. And this is the south side southward. 20 The west side also shall be the great SEA from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side. --MORE-- |
