ISAIAH 2 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the GOD of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. ISAIAH 3 15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts. ISAIAH 5 16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and GOD that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. ISAIAH 7 7 Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. 11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy GOD; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my GOD also? ISAIAH 8 10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for GOD is with us. 19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their GOD? for the living to the dead? 21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their GOD, and look upward. ISAIAH 10 3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye FLEE for help? and where will ye leave your glory? 21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty GOD. 23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. 24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. 31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to FLEE. ISAIAH 12 2 Behold, GOD is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. ISAIAH 13 14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and FLEE every one into his own land. 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when GOD overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. ISAIAH 14 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of GOD: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: ISAIAH 15 5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall FLEE unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. ISAIAH 17 6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD GOD of Israel. 10 Because thou hast forgotten the GOD of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips: 13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but GOD shall rebuke them, and they shall FLEE far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. ISAIAH 20 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we FLEE for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 21 10 O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the GOD of Israel, have I declared unto you. 17 And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD GOD of Israel hath spoken it. ISAIAH 22 5 For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains. 12 And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth: 14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. 15 Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say, ISAIAH 24 15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD GOD of Israel in the isles of the sea. ISAIAH 25 1 O Lord, thou art my GOD; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our GOD; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. ISAIAH 26 1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will GOD appoint for walls and bulwarks. 13 O LORD our GOD, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. ISAIAH 28 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. 26 For his GOD doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him. ISAIAH 29 23 But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the GOD of Israel. ISAIAH 30 15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a GOD of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. ISAIAH 31 3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not GOD; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together. 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 35 2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our GOD. 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your GOD will come with vengeance, even GOD with a recompence; he will come and save you. 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 36 7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our GOD: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar? ISAIAH 37 4 It may be the LORD thy GOD will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living GOD, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy GOD hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left. 10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy GOD, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. 16 O LORD of hosts, GOD of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the GOD, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth. 17 Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living GOD. 20 Now therefore, O LORD our GOD, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only. 21 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD GOD of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria: 38 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his GOD, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. --MORE-- |
