TITUS 1
1 Paul, a servant of GOD, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of GOD's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
2 In hope of eternal life, which GOD, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of GOD our Saviour;
4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from GOD the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of GOD; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
16 They profess that they know GOD; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
TITUS 2
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of GOD be not blasphemed.
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of GOD our Saviour in all things.
11 For the grace of GOD that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great GOD and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
TITUS 3
4 But after that the kindness and love of GOD our Saviour toward man appeared,
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in GOD might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
PHILEMON 1
3 Grace to you, and peace, from GOD our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my GOD, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
HEBREWS 1
1 GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of GOD worship him.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O GOD, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore GOD, even thy GOD, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
HEBREWS 2
4 GOD also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of GOD should taste death for every man.
13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which GOD hath given me.
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to GOD, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
HEBREWS 3
4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is GOD.
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living GOD.
HEBREWS 4
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And GOD did rest the seventh day from all his works.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of GOD.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as GOD did from his.
12 For the word of GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of GOD, let us hold fast our profession.
HEBREWS 5
1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to GOD, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of GOD, as was Aaron.
10 Called of GOD an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of GOD; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
HEBREWS 6
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward GOD,
3 And this will we do, if GOD permit.
5 And have tasted the good word of GOD, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of GOD afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from GOD:
10 For GOD is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
13 For when GOD made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
17 Wherein GOD, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for GOD to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
HEBREWS 7
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high GOD, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of GOD; abideth a priest continually.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto GOD.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto GOD by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
HEBREWS 8
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of GOD when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a GOD, and they shall be to me a people:
HEBREWS 9
6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of GOD.
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to GOD, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living GOD?
20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which GOD hath enjoined unto you.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us:
