ACTS 1 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of GOD: ACTS 2 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of GOD. 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith GOD, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which GOD did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of GOD, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom GOD hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that GOD had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 32 This Jesus hath GOD raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of GOD exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that GOD hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our GOD shall call. 47 Praising GOD, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. ACTS 3 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising GOD. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising GOD: 13 The GOD of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the GOD of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom GOD hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 18 But those things, which GOD before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which GOD hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your GOD raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which GOD made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 26 Unto you first GOD, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. ACTS 4 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom GOD raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of GOD to hearken unto you more than unto GOD, judge ye. 21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified GOD for that which was done. 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to GOD with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art GOD, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of GOD with boldness. ACTS 5 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto GOD. 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey GOD rather than men. 30 The GOD of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. 31 Him hath GOD exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom GOD hath given to them that obey him. 39 But if it be of GOD, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against GOD. ACTS 6 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of GOD, and serve tables. 7 And the word of GOD increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. 11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against GOD. ACTS 7 2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The GOD of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 6 And GOD spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years. 7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said GOD: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place. 9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but GOD was with him, 17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which GOD had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, 25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that GOD by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not. 32 Saying, I am the GOD of thy fathers, the GOD of Abraham, and the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold. 35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did GOD send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush. 37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your GOD raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. 42 Then GOD turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? 43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your GOD Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. 45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom GOD drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David; 46 Who found favour before GOD, and desired to find a tabernacle for the GOD of Jacob. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of GOD, and Jesus standing on the right hand of GOD, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of GOD. 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon GOD, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. --MORE-- |
